Can I subscribe for one month only?
Yes – just choose the monthly rolling subscription plan and send your e-mail request for cancellation to email@example.com before the 15th of the month to avoid receiving your WineBox the following month.
How are the wines selected?
Our work as wine journalists leads us to taste several thousand wines each year. These wines come from many different countries and regions, and are also from a very wide price range.
This gives us the opportunity to select wines that seem to us to be well above their average level for any particular type or price range. They may be well known or totally unknown. As we taste all wines blind (with the bottles covered) only the perceived quality and price/quality ration count.
Our aim is to offer wines that will taste well on delivery, without any particular fuss or precaution. Of course some of these wines will cellar well for a number of years, but our main aim is that they taste fine and true when you receive them. You will not be asked to cellar wines for 10 years or decant them two hours before serving!
Another part of our regular work is to teach wine knowledge to amateurs and future professionals. Exchanges with pupils constantly brings home to us the fact that we do not all share the same tastes, in wine as in other things. We will attempt to take this into account in our selections, even if these necessarily reflect our personal preferences that have been shaped by many years of experience.
To talk about this matter of our preferences, we like wines that have strong personalities, but this should not be confused with defects. A wine should be well made and reflect its place and grape of origin, which should in no way be masked by technical defects.
Finally it should be said that we have no form of connection, financial or otherwise, with any individual producer, region or country. Our choices are freely made and open to the good wines of the world!
How do I order wines I’ve received in my WineBox?
Nothing coud be more simple! At the start of every month, we reveal the contents of our WineBoxes and make them available for sale. Simply choose the wine you would like and process your order accordingly. But don’t dawdle, stocks are limited !
I’d like to offer someone a gift. How do I do it?
Sign up, choose which WineBox you would like to offer and then ensure that you indicate the name and address of the person that you are offering the gift to in the delivery details.
What are your delivery charges?
Wine bottles are heavy and wine is fragile (it shouldn’t be shaken or stirred). We have chosen Veolog as our logistics partner because they are specialists in the secure delivery of wine and spirits. We currently charge €7,50 for delivery anywhere in mainland France.
Do you deliver abroad?
We currently only deliver to mainland France. We will shortly be extending our service, however, to the rest of Europe.
When will I recieve my WineBox?
We will inform you by mail of its impending delivery when it leaves the warehouse. We aim to deliver around the 15th of every month. For all new orders received prior to the 25th of the month, delivery will be around the 15th of the following month.
I still haven’t received my wines. What do I do?
If you still haven't received your WineBox by the 20th of the month, please contact us : firstname.lastname@example.org
My WineBox is damaged. What do I do?
Please take a photo of the damaged WineBox and send it to us : email@example.com
At delivery, you have the right to refuse a parcel that you consider to be damaged and request that it be returned to the sender.
Payment and cancellation
I have a monthly subscription. When will I be debited?
You will be debited on the day that you place your order and then the 5th of each following month.
I have a monthly subscription. How do I cancel it?
Simply send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org before the 15th of the month to cancel your WineBox for the following month.
Are your online payments secure?
Yes, all transactions are processed by Stripe which is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification. No credit card details are kept on our servers.
My credit card details have changed. What do I do?
Log in to your account and change your card details. Should you forget to do this, you will receive three reminders before your subscription is cancelled.
My log in doesn’t work! What do I do?
